A day full of happiness, gratitude and love, it is supposed to be. Perhaps it still is, although for me, is a a moment of peace and stillness, arrived after four busy months of school.

A perfect present from Saint Nicholas, I mean, my parents, was this set of books.
Reading the first book took me a big amount of time, considering that I had my hands full with school, and I finished three days ago. I was blown away. I loved it. For the first time, in my reading books and watching movies history, I have a male role model, Lord Asriel. Yes, he wasn't all the way good, but he fought for what he believed, he was strong-willed, free-thinker, independent and all these things that makes him, in my eyes, a role model. I want to become an explorer, at the moment, because of him.
I, also, have a strong need to see the Aurora Borealis, and be part of the beauty of nature.
This book, is one of the best, maybe even the best, from any series I have ever read. Now I have to see how it continues, and maybe the series won't let me down.
